What is the difference between a clairvoyant, a medium, a psychic and a tarot card reader?

Clairvoyant

Clair is the French term  for 'clear' so clairvoyance is translated to 'clear seeing' or inner vision.

A clairvoyant is a  person who sees images, visions, pictures, colours and symbols. This is similar to watching a television screen of the persons life that they are reading for .A true clairvoyant reading will be given information about the recipients  past, present and future. Answers to questions and guidance can be given for present and future. Not everything seen clairvoyantly  is set in stone . There can be more than one path shown for present and future. This is called a free will choice. A clairvoyant can give clarity and guidance on which would be the best free will choice and decision to make for a good successful happy outcome. 

Clairaudience

The translation for clairaudience is 'clear hearing'. Often described as inner hearing.

It is a gift to hear sound, music, voices in our inner ear , or even in our mind. 

Clairaudience is not to be confused with schizophrenia or mental health conditions Where the person hears voices.

Some psychics experience a buzzing or tingling in their ears before they experience a flow of words.

Clairsentience

Clairsentience translated is a form of 'clear knowing'.

This can be described as a clear feeling or sensing and inner knowing, about something.

It can be felt as a gut feeling or intuitive knowing, with a strong emotion that is persistent and will not go away.

Clairalience

Clairalience translated means clear smelling.

This is the ability to perceive smell without the physical presence. Often experienced from our loved ones in the spirit world. Such a smelling a loved ones perfume they wore, or a familiar tobacco smell they may have smoked. 

Mediumship

This is the ability to connect  to the spirit world. Receiving messages from guides, and loved ones who have passed away.

Psychic

A psychic is a broad umbrella term for a person who perceives information beyond the physical senses. All clairvoyants are psychics, but not all psychics are clairvoyant. 

Tarot card reader

A tarot card reader uses cards as a tool to provide guidance and psychological insight, relying on specific meanings and  positions of the cards. This is a  craft, that anyone can learn from the guide book on the tarot of from taking tarot courses. Tarot does not need the reader to be clairvoyant. Although quite a lot of clairvoyants do use their natural gift as well as the tarot cards in a reading.
